Include your iPhone model, iOS version, TodoLock version, and what happened. You can find the app version in Settings → About. Share only the task details you are comfortable sending.
Start with one task
- Complete setup and allow Screen Time access.
- Choose an app or category to block in TodoLock Settings.
- Add a task, set your daily quota, and choose Hard lock or Reminder.
- Complete your daily goal to make selected apps available. Night mode can still block them during your chosen nightly window.
Why is an app still blocked?
Open TodoLock and check your progress, daily quota, and Night mode schedule. In Strict mode, you must meet the configured quota even if your list has fewer tasks. A completion cooldown can delay the next check-off.
TodoLock uses your chosen reset time to start a new day; the default is 4:00 a.m. An earned daily unlock lasts until the next app day. If the state looks out of date, reopen TodoLock to refresh it.
How does snooze work?
Reminder mode offers a short snooze from a blocking screen while your daily goal is unmet and you have tasks on your list. It pauses blocking for all your selected apps. The screen closes after you snooze; tap the original app icon again to open it.
Snooze is limited to once per hour and is unavailable during Night mode. Open TodoLock and tap Lock now to end an active snooze early.
What does Night mode do?
Night mode blocks your selected apps during a daily window, even after your task quota is met. Choose its start and end in Settings. Vacation mode is a separate pause that takes precedence until the resume time you choose.
How do tasks repeat?
Touch and hold a task, then choose Make persistent to repeat it daily. Choose Make one-time to stop future repetition. The same menu lets you rename or delete a task.
What do the stats mean?
Stats show your task completion history, completion streak, and snooze totals. Snooze time describes the breaks you requested; it is not a measurement of how long you used other apps.
Why hasn't a widget changed yet?
iOS controls widget refresh timing. Open TodoLock to refresh your task state, then allow the widget time to update. TodoLock offers small and medium Home Screen widgets and circular, rectangular, and inline Lock Screen widgets.
How do I manage permissions or remove my data?
You can change TodoLock's Screen Time access and notification permissions in iPhone Settings. Blocking requires Screen Time access; notifications are optional.
Tasks and settings are stored locally. Deleting a task removes it from the active list while completed history can remain for stats. To remove local app data, delete TodoLock rather than offloading it. Manage existing backups separately. Read the privacy policy for details.
